Hi, I’m Tom from Signature Hardware. Today I’m going to show you how to install one of our Art Deco Console Sinks.

As a style that is very much on trend, art deco pieces are great for making a statement in your bathroom.

For a solid install, your sink should be anchored to either studs, or solid wood blocking. If you are unfamiliar with this type of installation, contact a professional.

We’re going to need a couple of tools for the job; a large towel, a pencil, a level, a drill, a screwdriver, silicone sealant and a damp cloth.

Lay the console legs on your towel to prepare for assembly.

Attach the horizontal supports to the ball joints and tighten the set screws.

Once assembled, place the sink stand against the wall and line it up with the studs or wood blocking. Make sure the stand is level. You can adjust the small screws under each leg if you need.

Attach the first flange to the wall. Make sure that the flanges are the correct distance apart and attach the second flange.

To install the undermount sink, carefully turn the countertop over so that it rests upside down on your towel.

If you have a semi-recessed or vessel sink, install the countertop and then install your sink using the sink installation instructions.

Position the sink over the sink cutout on the counter. Make sure the sink is centered with the faucet hole and is evenly spaced between the bolt holes.

Once the ideal position is determined, trace an outline of the sink on the countertop.

Lift the sink from the countertop and apply a bead of silicone around the rim.

Carefully place the sink upside down on the countertop, positioning it within the outline.

Attach the sink clips and wing bolts and tighten snugly.

Apply a dab of silicone to each leg of the sink stand.

Carefully lift and place the counter on the sink stand.

If you need to reposition the sink, loosen the wing bolts, adjust the sink and retighten the bolts.

Remove any excess silicone with a damp cloth.

Apply silicone along the bottom edge and back of the backsplash. Position the backsplash on the back of the countertop and press into place against the wall.

Allow the silicone to dry for 24 hours.

That’s it! Your Art Deco console sink installation is complete. Follow the faucet and drain installation instructions to finish your renovation.
