Hi, I’m Tom from Signature Hardware. Today I’m going to show you how to attach feet to an acrylic clawfoot tub.

For this installation you’re going to need an 11/16” and a 3/4” wrench.

Included with our tub are 2 bars, 4 mounting bolts, 4 flat washers, and 4 locking washers.

The materials included may vary depending on the make and model of your tub.

Carefully lay the tub upside down on a folded blanket other padding.

If you have purchased a roll top tub, place a book, or a 2x4, beneath the tub rim so that you can easily flip the tub over when you’re finished.

Remove the washers and nuts from the threaded studs on the bottom of the tub.

Place the bars over the threaded studs.

Thread a washer and nut onto each stud, and hand tighten the nuts so the bar can easily slide back and forth until the foot is attached.

Fit the feet onto the bar and tub.

It is normal to have a very small gap between the foot and the tub.

Secure with a flat washer, locking washer, and bolt.

Once the foot is fitted correctly, finish tightening the nuts used to secure the bar.

Do not over-tighten the nut, this could strip the bolt and crack the acrylic.

After all feet are attached, flip the tub over and allow it to rest on the floor. Lift the tub by the rim only, never by the feet.

Additional adjustments can be made by tightening the levelers on the bottom of the feet. Move the levelers until your tub sits evenly on the floor.

That’s it, you’re done. You’re ready to enjoy your new tub.
