How To Install a Register

|
Read the entire installation instructions before beginning your installation. Always observe all local building and safety codes. |
For the following installation instructions it is assumed there is an existing air duct opening for the floor or wall register. |
For standard floor or wall registers, the louver frame fits into the air duct opening in the floor or wall, and the lip rests on the surface of the floor or wall. For flush-mount floor registers, the register fits completely into the floor with no lip. |

Drill a pilot hole inside the recessed area of the frame at an angle down into the sub-floor. |

Carefully making sure that the frame has not shifted, use finishing nails to attach the register to the sub-floor. |
