I purchased two seats 2-3 years to put side by side each has a max weight of 250lbs. They look like metal put are plastic. Seats look great. There was an issue with corrosion where it hinges up. I just got an email today about that problem, and they are sending be two seats at no cost!
They fixed the mistake at no cost or shipping. Can't beat that :)

I bought this seat two years ago. It has worked fine for me, but what looks like metal is NOT. The chrome finish is on plastic and even though I wipe down everything in the shower every time I take a shower the "chrome" finish" is flaking off and looks awful!

Just installed this product. It really looks nice but of course it is new. The screws however were not very long nor were they very secure either. I am going to have to dismount and remount with longer screws. I cant say much more as I have not even used it.

My wife just went to the floor while sitting on this product. The arms that attach the seat to the wall brackets just broke off. It isn't new but it isn't that old either but this should never happen

After 3 years, the arms snapped and sent me to the shower floor, and I only weigh 125 lbs. Luckily I was not injured. I will never buy this brand again.

I just did a gut renovation of my shower and put in a new shower stall. The shower seat has been perfect so far. Curious about the chrome rubbing off problem though. I hope it doesn't happen to mine.
    • Very Pleased!

We had this seat installed during our master bath shower remodel. We opted to use the folding seat vs. a tiled seat install to save space. This option worked great and we are very pleased with our decision. Product appears very high-end and we have not experienced any quality issues. I would highly recommend this product.

Similar to others, chrome started flaking off shortly after starting to use, and the arms just failed at the mounting pin making the seat useless.

Seat arms made of nickel plated plastic failed after 3 years, snapped right off the brackets. Max. weight at any one time 160 lbs. Nice design but poor quality. Would not recommend.

Purchased one for my shower and loved it so much I purchased another one for my remodeled guest bath. So much better than a stool because it folds up out of the way. If you want a more uniform color you can treat it with teak oil.
