  • d shaped shower curtain rod

After some modifications this product worked well. The wall side rod that came with the set was 4 inches too long. Maybe for another product? Anyway it had to be cut and re drilled to use. Then the coupling for the two curved rod pieces was so short and flimsy that the weight of the shower curtain caused the rod to sag on the ends. I threw that coupling away and found a piece of electrical conduit that was longer and fit inside the rod. Problem solved. I'm sure signature hardware would have been happy to take care of these issues , but a house full of guests was imminent and I was able to take care of this right away which saved a lot of time and back and forth shipping . These modifications however would not have been easy for anyone lacking more than basic hand tools and experience in anything other than an out of the box installation.

very hard to install--lay it all out first--you will need to remove one of the metal inserts for all the male/female connections. You'll know what this means when you get it. Also, the photo shows one of the pieces at an angle, like it was a cable--it is not, it is a solid piece of metal that must be installed vertically on the ceiling--very misleading.
