Hi, I’m Tom from Signature Hardware. Today I’m going to show you how to enclose a tub area with our Corner Shower Curtain Rod.

This L-shaped shower rod includes one ceiling support that can be cut to length.

We’re going to need a few tools for the job; a tape measure, a hacksaw, a pencil, a level, a drill with a 3/16" drill bit, a hammer, and a Philips head screwdriver.

Lay the rod pieces on the floor. Assemble the rod with the connector. Slide the 1" loop onto the curved section of the rod.

Double-check to make sure that the rod pieces are the correct length for your installation. If not, you can trim the rod with a hacksaw. The ends will be covered by the mounting brackets, so it’s okay if they’re a little rough.

Insert the ends of the rod into the wall brackets. Tighten the set screws with your Philips head screwdriver.

Hold the rod up at the desired mounting height. Use a tape measure and level to make sure that your wall brackets are lined up properly on each wall.

Mark the placement of the mounting holes.

Drill pilot holes for the wall anchors. If you hit a stud, don’t worry, just use wood screws in that location instead. Gently tap the anchors into the pilot holes with a hammer.

Drive screws into the anchors to attach the wall brackets.

Thread the ceiling bracket to the ceiling support.

Hold the ceiling support in place and mark the distance between the celling and the rod. Trim the ceiling support to the proper length with your hacksaw.

Once the support is ready, insert it into the 1" loop.

Hold the ceiling support in place and mark the placement of the mounting holes.

Drill pilot holes for the anchors and tap the anchors in with a hammer. Then, attach the ceiling bracket.

Use a level to make sure that the ceiling support is plumb and tighten the remaining set screw on the 1" loop.

That’s it, now you’re ready to hang your shower curtain.
