Order Picking and Packing Process

Our goal is to provide our customers with the best quality products in the most efficient manner possible while creating a safe and pleasant work environment for our staff. Hand-held PCs allow us to reduce the amount of steps that our warehouse staff must go through during order fulfillment, while the addition of portable printers eliminates extra trips to the packing and shipping stations. We have provided the sequence of our shipping process below for your convenience.

After an order is placed, the electronic order information is sent directly to our warehouse staff for fulfillment. Hand-held PCs are used to identify the part number, scan the item and check the product out of inventory.
The item is then pulled from its shelf location and brought to a packing station.
Products are securely packed into a cardboard shipping box lined with packing peanuts or bubble wrap, as needed, to ensure the safe arrival of your order.
The packed item is then labeled with the customer's shipping information and a UPS tracking barcode.
The order is then weighed at the shipping station and the tracking barcode is scanned. This information is used to generate a UPS shipping label.
The UPS shipping label prints promptly.
The package is then labeled.
Packages are shipped daily from our Erlanger, KY location, home to both our customer service and warehouse departments. We look forward to assisting you in the purchase and prompt fulfillment of your orders.
