Bronze Sink Maintenance

To keep your bronze sink beautiful, it is important to maintain proper care. Use only mild, non-antibacterial soaps, be sure to rinse away any lingering soap bubbles or toothpaste, and always wipe with a soft cloth after using. Information about caring for each finish is listed below.

Polished Bronze
Polished Bronze

Finish: Polished Bronze is a shiny, gold-like finish that has a lustrous, glossy look. The color will change with time and normal use, creating a much-sought after living finish. This will result in a natural darkening on the bronze, which some sink owners desire to create a rustic and earthy appearance.

Cleaning: For a natural darkening of the bronze, simply wash with soap and water and wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth. If you want to maintain the hand-polished luminous surface, we recommend using a polishing agent that cleans and protects, such as NevrDull. After reading the label instructions, apply the polish to the entire surface of the sink with a slightly damp soft cloth. Before the polish dries on the sink, buff briskly with a dry soft cloth until all the polish has been lifted and the surface shines. We recommend polishing and applying a carnauba based paste wax, such as Johnson's Paste Wax, to your bronze sink every four weeks to maximize the brilliance of your sink's appearance. The wax will also help protect your sink against water spots.

Satin Bronze

Finish: Satin Bronze is a soft, matte finish that lets the golden hues of the bronze show through. The color will change with time and normal use, creating a much-sought after living finish. This will result in a natural darkening of the smooth satin finish, which creates a slightly darker, rich patina that is unique to each individual sink.

Cleaning: For a natural darkening of the satin bronze, simply wash with soap and water and wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth. If you want to maintain the hand-polished luminous surface, we recommend using a polishing agent that cleans and protects, such as NevrDull. After reading the label instructions, apply the polish to the entire surface of the sink with a slightly damp soft cloth. Finish: White Bronze is a soft, matte finish that lets the silvery hues of the white bronze show through. The color will naturally darken and change with time, creating a slightly darker, rich patina that is unique to each individual sink.

Cleaning: For a natural darkening of the white bronze, simply wash with soap and water and wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth. If you want to maintain the hand-polished luminous surface, we recommend using a polishing agent that cleans and protects, such as NevrDull. Weathered Bronze
Weathered Bronze

Finish: Weathered Bronze is a matte living finish with an oxidized patina that has been chemically induced. It will have natural variations in color and patterns, making each sink a unique work of art. The bronze will naturally darken over time and normal use, enhancing the finish.

Cleaning: To clean a sink with Weathered Bronze finish, simply rinse with a mild soap and water, and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Polishing a Weathered Bronze sink is not recommended. Because a chemical process is applied to the surface of the bronze, using any kind of polish, abrasives, or vigorous scrubbing can strip the finish, exposing the original color of the bronze. Applying Johnson's Paste Wax or another carnauba based paste wax every four weeks can help protect the sink against water spots.

Polished Nickel
