Trak Rod Installation Help

The unique Trak Rod allows your shower curtain to move around without obstruction from ceiling supports. Trak rod is made from lightweight aluminum. The ceiling supports are brass tubing and can be cut to length with a tubing cutter or hack saw. Follow the instructions below for installation.

Included: 4 - 36" support rods, 4 - ceiling flanges, 48 glide pins, 2 - connectors, left and right half of shower ring.

  1. Remove old rod and brackets from wall or ceiling. Patch any existing holes from old hardware that will be exposed.
  2. Installation should be done with two people.
  3. Assemble the two trak rod frames with the two connectors that are inserted in the end of one of the frames.
  4. Remove the screws from the end of each ceiling support rods, from the bottom side of the carousel put the screw in through the holes supplied and tighten the screw to the end of each support rod firmly. Do not over-tighten.
  5. Place each flange on the top side of the carousel ceiling support rods and lightly tighten the set screw.
  6. Raise the carousel to the ceiling and mark your holes for the flanges to be mounted to the ceiling. Insert the anchors supplied for mounting the flanges to the ceiling.
  7. Remove the flanges and cutoff excess tubing to mount the carousel to the height desired.
  8. Place the ceiling flanges back on the support rods and screw them in place. Mount the carousel with the screws supplied.
  9. Note: Bend the carousel halves only once. Bending the halves more than once may cause the trak to break.
