Benefits of Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is much stronger and has better thermal resistance than regular glass. This makes it ideal for use in glass basins and countertops, where hot water is commonly used.
While tempered glass has added strength, is will still break if it is dropped, struck, or otherwise damaged. In the event of breakage, tempered glass will shatter into small, cube-shaped fragments instead of large, jagged shards, significantly decreasing the risk of injury. |
