Nickel is a highly reflective finish with a warm, silvery tone. Available in both polished and matte varieties, as well as smooth and hammered textures, it matches almost any home decor and can be used with complementing finishes such as chrome, brushed nickel, oil rubbed bronze, and even copper. Often a copper bathtub or sink is partially plated with nickel, leaving some natural copper exposed to bring out the rich earthy tones of the copper. Nickel naturally darkens with time, taking on a desired and much sought-after deeper finish with age and use.

| Nickel Tub Cleaning and Maintenance

Easy to care for and clean, products with a nickel finish will stay looking new for years to come. For daily cleaning, simply rinse any residual soap from your bathtub and wipe the inside dry with a clean, soft towel. Dried water spots can be easily rubbed out with a soft towel.
Nickel bathtubs are typically lacquered, and require little maintenance to maintain the polished surface.

| Nickel Sink Cleaning and Maintenance

Nickel sinks are easily cleaned by rinsing with water and wiping with a soft cloth. They require polishing every few weeks to maintain the hand-polished luminous surface. We recommend using a polishing agent that cleans and protects, such as NevrDull. After reading the label instructions, apply the polish to the entire surface of the sink with a slightly damp soft cloth. Before the polish dries on the sink, buff briskly with a dry soft cloth until all the polish has been lifted and the surface shines.
We recommend applying a carnauba based paste wax, such as Johnson's Paste Wax, to your nickel sink every four weeks to maximize the brilliance of your sink's appearance. The wax will also help protect your sink against water spots.
