Crescent Rod Installation Help

With the simple installation of this curved Crescent Shower™ Rod, amazing space will instantly be added to your bath. The 3" curve at the corners allows the natural drape of a standard shower curtain along the inside rim of your bathtub, preventing water leakage to the floor. Even the narrowest of tubs will have the showering area of a large oval due to the 6" curvature at the center of the rod. The brackets allow the 1" rod to adjust for variations in space between end walls. The 60" rod fits all standard or oval 60" tubs and the 72" rod fits all standard or oval 72" tubs. Rod is made of steel alloy.

Included: Cast zinc brackets, bracket covers, mounting hardware, tile and sheet rock anchors.

1. Remove old rod and brackets from wall. Mounting brackets are 3" x 1-3/8". Patch any existing holes from old hardware that will be exposed.
2. Measure distance between walls where shower curtain rod will mount. The rod can be cut down if needed. Cut the rod evenly on both sides if a shorter rod is needed. Use hacksaw or tubing cutter to remove excess length. Rod ends will be covered by mounting brackets.
3. Use screwdriver to remove top and bottom screws from bracket. Separate bracket halves.
4. Place brackets on wall and mark holes with pencil.
5. Use 1/4" drill bit to drill hole for wall anchor.
6. Thread anchors into wall holes.
7. Use enclosed mounting screws and mount brackets halves on wall.
8. Place existing brackets halves on shower rod.
9. Place shower rod into brackets. Check for level and ensure that bow of rod is facing out from tub.
10. Tighten top and bottom screws to hold brackets halves together.
11. Use hex wrench (included) to tighten rod set screws.
