Bar faucets are specifically designed to maximize the efficiency of your bar sink. Most bar faucets have high, arched spouts that allow plenty of space underneath for rinsing out wine goblets or cleaning vegetables, and they work best with shallow basins such as those you find on a typical wet bar.
If your prep sink has the depth of a traditional farmhouse sink, and you plan on washing pots or pans in the deeper basin, consider using a single hole kitchen faucet. These kitchen faucets often have pull out handsprays or more forceful nozzles for heavy duty work, and are great additions to your kitchen island setup.
You may also use a regular single hole lavatory faucet if your bar sink is mainly for hand-washing or simply cleanup.
