    • Not "toasty"

We chose this towel warmer for its brass finish. It is sturdy and well-made. However, the warmth it added to our towels was almost imperceptible. Using an infrared thermometer, we found the surface only warmed to 108 degrees. After running all night, towels were only 80-90 degrees. This towel rack uses only 55 watts, the least powerful of any listed.

We replaced it with a 135-watt model (stainless steel). Its surface temp is 130 degrees, which heats towels to 90-100 degrees -- still not "toasty" but they dry fast, absorb moisture better, and feel somewhat warm to the touch.
