    • Great tub

We bought our tub about 4 years ago and we love it. The tub is deep and long, so there is plenty of room to move around. The bottom is flat, so your feet are not slanted when standing. The acrylic is nice compared to a metal tub in that when filling with water, it holds the temperature longer and is not as cold. One thing that we didnt like was since the tub is acrylic, it is extremely light, which would normally be a good thing, but it makes it a challenge to keep it planted in place once installed. You will either have to fasten it to the floor with some sort of bracket or use some non-skid furniture pads. We tried using adhesive caulk, that didnt last long. Then we tried a small dab of adhesive, which also did not work. The non-skid pads with a curved inside have worked so far for about two years. If that wouldnt have worked, i would have had to fabricate a small metal bracket to attach to the tub foot and fasten to the floor so it wouldnt move around. I do wish signature hardware sold some kind of kit that would solve this problem. Other than that, we love our tub, and we use it everyday as our primary shower. I'll give it a four star due to the fastening issue, other than that, the tub is solid, strong, and extremely durable.

We added on a master bathroom. This clawfoot tub became the centerpiece, for good reason. It is the perfect length & depth, enveloping you immediately when you get in. We also got hardware that makes it even more attractive. I will buy this tub again if we ever move. No doubt.
