Comments about 60"" Socorro Cast Iron Slipper Pedestal Tub:

It's a very nice tub, we love it. It's very comfortable for a 5ft tub, the slope is just right and it doesn't make my back hurt like the old jetted tub we had.I'm 5'11""so you can't really straighten out but I hang my feet out the top anyway. My wife is 5 ' 3" and she can though. It's easy to clean and looks really good. It's great for a small space ours was drilled on the rim for the faucet and everything fit perfect. Very stable when filled and doesn't move when getting in or out. Contrasts well with a travertine floor for a high end look.

For me this tub is wonderful. But, my husband does not fit. I love it but we won't be sharing baths and he will not be able to enjoy a bath in the master. He is 5'9" and is stuffed when he gets in.

Comments about 60"" Socorro Cast Iron Slipper Pedestal Tub:

We recently built a custom home and put this tub in the Master Bath. We ended up going with this one and love it!
Pros- It's georgeous and looks fancy! The back is very comfortable to lean against when sitting in the tub. The water stays hot for a reasonably long time (one of the reasons why we went with a cast iron tub verses acrylic). It also drains very fast.
Cons- The tub was actually a lot smaller than we thought it would be even having looked at the measurements (I found it a little difficult to gauge how big the base would be where you're sitting verses the top rim, which are very different sizes). To give you an idea- I am about 5'3 and I have just enough room when sitting with my back against the tub to stretch my legs out completely. Anyone much taller than this wouldn't be able to very easily. Also, the delivery truck was not equipped to move the crate the tub came in (?!)- thankfully we had several large men on site who were able to move it from the truck into the house. It's like a 500lb crate, so it's not easy to move! Even out of the crate it took three men taking multiple breaks along the way to get it in the bathroom.
Overall, we love the tub and I'm happy we purchased it.
